The sun shone as early as 639 am. So bright and cheerful. I managed to woke up early, thanks to Sony E alarm for its efficiency in waking me up at 530 am sharp and directly went to the bathroom to have shower. I prepared myself, put on tones of sunblock spf 50 again..(gile menjaga keputihan muka kan aku nie?)..
Finished half an hour later, I went to my so-called-2nd-home, and fried the samosa. Packed up all the things needed, and sharp 630 am, we headed down using the Block B lift. And thank God, the driver was actually earlier than us, and already got his engine warmed up for this “thrilling” trip! Good job! I like this driver! Well, he can speaks English quite well (which I don’t need to think to rephrase my simple-sentences into simpler-sentences)..and HE JUST CAN DRIVE THE VAN SO CAREFUL AND OBEY THE ROAD RULES. Ohh, im so liking him! (err bukan suka yang macam suka itu lah, ini suka sbb kerja dia yang bagus dan dia mmg bagus!kau paham kan?)
What so “cool” about Sudan despite its early sun shining on top of your head, are the traffic jams and the “so-early” arrival of police. Why we need to see the police early morning? Ok, FYI you need to have the permit to go to the North..eventhough you are still in Khartoum!
Macam kalau kau nak pergi wedding hana kt Kedah kau kene pergi pejabat polis kt Brickfields untuk dapatkan permit dengan bayaran rm36 dan perlu menunggu selama setengah jam sebelum polis datang dan check passport kau, kereta kau dan lessen driver kau..
Whatever it is, we got the 20 pound permit (rasuah je semua kt sini) and started our journey at 730 am..ahh its already late, and I bet it will be so muchhhh heat in the brain down to the toe. Aaa, hembusss jeeee…
The sceneray was more like desert..haha..memang kau nak pergi desert pon kan…and the road was quite ok (eventhough only like 50% smooth)….most of us continued our sleeping time, as for me the official co-driver, i chatted with the driver, and bikin dia gelak besar punye sebab aku ini terlalu kelaka? (sorry geng, aku mmg becok sgt)..
And finally!!! Sharp 11am we arrived at the Al Bujerawih (how to spell???)..this is where you can see tiny pyramids of Sudan, unlike the BIG one in Egypt. The pyramids were here and there, and you can see from far how tiring it was to climb the sandy hotty hill!! WITH 41 DEGREES CELCIUS!! But don’t worry! The place comes with good service of JAMMAL…unta babe unta!! Gwe sudah naik unta!! So much fun even tho quite scary at first when the jammal was suddenly “berbunyi-bunyi mengawan seperti kucing jantan yang gatal” awww jangan lah mengorat I wahai incik jammal…
PERHATIAN: Before you are actually going to have some sort like heavy sport that needs lotsa energy and finally you only get thirst, please please don’t filled your tank with 2 fried chickens, 1 plate of nasi goreng china, and 1 cup of coke! Senak perut cramp sana sini..fuhh lesson learnt geng!
And there was it, we spent like 2 hours there before proceed to the next destination, which was unplanned! The driver then came up with brilliant idea to go to Shalal Shabaloga (waterfall)…haha Sudan ada waterfall? It is not waterfall that I already imagine in my mind, with easy breezy wind…cold water..greeny view..ok tang greeny view tu dah betol dah, ..tp wind NO wind..But so far kool jugaklah ada tpt menghijau di Africa nie..so lets enjoy the pictures!

Tol ini menyaksikan betapa lantangnya suara driver kami untuk tidak mahu membayar kadar tol yg agak tinggi (alah padahal 4 pound je kot) kerna katanya tidak seperti biasa..(1 way = 2.50 pound) mcm nak gado wooo

My memories – naik unta angree angree yibaa, panjat sand yang sangat panas sampai rasa kering tekak, melompat di padang pasir, bergamba di tepi sungai nil yang menghijau, menyaksikan betapa kuatnya amalan pow di Sudan (sbb derang takda specific harga pun utk tol ke, entrance kee pakai hembuss jee tengok foreigner kene la ketuk), melihat unta liar, sembahyang di tengah2 padang pasir dengan sekeliling melihat kau bagaikan alien kerna memakai telekung…
Whatever it is, this is the most valuable memory in lifetime!!
